Fika.

A really nice, cosy Swedish cafe restaurant at the outskirts of Arab Street and Beach Road. Such a lovely ambience with distant Arabic/Mediterranean music accompanying the cool breezy night. Well, the above description is what I hope to achieve this weekend with Ayul.

I went there for lunch with YY, Sara and Richard. My openface Grilled Salmon Sandwich was extraordinary! I hope to come back this Saturday to try the Swedish Hash. Richard had that and it did look yummy with the heap of beef and egg and potatoes!

Aahhhhhh I cant wait. It's my turn to treat him ;)

Jacob Cass

Talented 22 year old lad...He's featured in The Computer Arts Project Magazine as one of the world's most influential designer. Especially in logo design. I read the article on his interview. He really sound like a smart man!

Hand Werk

Really great hand work here. Nicely done and I would love to have one! Peter Nencini designed it for the Poundshop that was recently opened. I wish I was there to witness the opening and went mad ogling the random things sold there.

Wonder if there actually take international orders...

desain grafis indonesia!!

This post number felt like my lucky number.
I found something interesting as recommended by my colleague. She reads her usual new feed on Desain Grafis Indonesia or DGI for short.

It is a platform for designers, especially Indonesian designers to communicate and share ideas, inspirations and what nots.

I especially love the simple yet meaningful experiment made by two designers here. I can imagine their exhibition on this particular project to be a successful one. Now, I am inspired to come up with a new personal project....
