ZUTTO
This is a special post. Not only the post has triple of the same number, this post marks my pondering questions about my illustration style. I was looking at some tee shirts designs and vector art. The thing is, I do appreciate vector art but I am not that big of a fan for clean vector style. I love rugged, edgy, rough looking illustrations that plays with line texture and strokes. The way I colour is also different. I dont do much gradients but I like combining flat colours with different hues and tones to make it more 3D.

One fine example of a vector art illustration who masters gradient is Zutto. What a cute Russian name!! I admire her capability to create characters that appears strong and soft and so real at the same time. The Owls she did were AMAZING!! cant get enough of those mysterious creatures!

Really cool campaign!
Would like to see them on the street actually but I doubt Singapore would allow visuals like this...Nevertheless I love how the illustrations merge with the real subject. And it's witty and so-in-your-face!

Thanks sam for posting this on your fb wall!
I love chancing upon little little delights like this... especially when you are zoning out at work.. heh heh..

ouis Reith
Love the texture and the medium he is working on. guess it;s all handmade. So geometrical and reminds me a lot on constructivism. Angles, sharp points and fine lines...

Ramayana By Sanjay Patel
His works are great. Love the colour combinations. The unique style and lines he used kinda brings about a light mood to me. It's as though I can appreciate and understand Hinduism better with his works; the epic scenes that occurs etc. The great thing is, he was able to restore and re-state the culture and religious vibes of the Hindu Gods with his very modern works.

Having it as my wall now... ;)

Megan Diddie
The site BOOOOOOOM has awesome design inspirations!!

Catch Megan in her site. Really awesome!

She also has a blog where she sells her paintings and drawings. She portrays evocative issues in her mixed media pieces and she explores the surreal and unconscious world/musings.

She reveals a world of eroticism, dreams and also showcases a certain fascination for bodies, illusions, obsessions and etc. It must be her strong foundation and understanding of art history and having such great inspirations like Rita Ackermann led her to render such great works.
