Hand Werk

Really great hand work here. Nicely done and I would love to have one! Peter Nencini designed it for the Poundshop that was recently opened. I wish I was there to witness the opening and went mad ogling the random things sold there.

Wonder if there actually take international orders...

for this particular project, this look similar to the project I did for Leo's Cafe Bar. Illustration style and stuff. But of course our illustration style is very different; plus the things we illustrate.

Saguez & Partners

'Design is not just about looking good'. I like how they make their website sound friendly and easy to navigate too. I found out about them while looking through Sarah Alkaff's book. Designing Brand Experience. I was looking for some inspiration actually.

Cause I was stuck with some mobile marketing company revamped logo. Only at Stage Draft 3 they decided not to have the reception visual. So I used more of other communication iconic stuff like speech and people. Hope they like at least one of it.

This Saguez & Partners is a French company. They do a lot of design areas, from concept to production. I love their packaging stuff and branding. Really look expensive though it might be just a local brand there.

Singgih Kartono

This guy is freaking cool. Yani was reading about him in the morning. Not only is he a tree hugger big fan, he is someone who makes his mark in product design. Recently won an award in International Design Resource Association (IDRA) in Seattle, he creates job for the people who were making simple handicrafts. he certainly uplift the living standard of the people living there and creates a room for further expansion of commercial activities in the area.

He also encourage sustainability in design, promoting recycling in design and overall, great design! I love his works because I love wood myself. I have this natural attraction for anything wood for its natural texture and warm, cosy and so familiar comfort. I absolutely love earth colours!

I would love to get one of the radios. I was told I can plug in my ipod and it acts as a speaker. Coolness!
